One person taps "係 my partner already on Us" → "Generate code" to create a 6-digit code. The other person enters that code plus your shared anniversary date. Both phones unlock the chat tab once paired.
This means the message was encrypted with a different keypair than the one currently on your device — usually because either you or your partner reinstalled the app or signed in on a new phone. Past messages can no longer be decrypted; new messages will work normally. To start fresh: Profile → 解除配對 then re-pair.
Settings → Notifications → Us → make sure "Allow Notifications" is on. Also confirm you've completed pairing (push only works for paired couples) and that you've granted the notification permission when the app first asked.
Email kck980724@gmail.com with the subject "[Us privacy] Account deletion". We'll erase your auth record + all your couple/message/entry/anniversary/play-history rows within 30 days.
If you only want to start over (not delete the account), use Profile → 重設個人資料 inside the app.
Currently iPhone only (iOS 17+). The end-to-end encryption design is iPhone-specific because the private key lives in iOS Keychain. iPad / Android / web are not on the immediate roadmap.
Your private encryption key is non-syncing (stays on the original device) so a fresh install on a new phone generates a new keypair. You'll see your past messages as "(無法解密)" — by design, so that lost devices can't be used to read your history. Just re-pair with your partner to start fresh.
